Microsoft is expanding its line up of latest Surface hardware and has just confirmed that its enterprise focused Surface Pro 6 for Business and Surface Laptop 2 for Business will be launched with larger memory and improved processor options.
In a blog Microsoft confirmed that it will be launched the Surface Pro 6 for Business and Surface Laptop 2 for Business 11 additional European markets: Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovenia and Slovakia. These offerings will leverage an International English keyboard (Surface Pro Type Cover sold separately) and include local languages in the operating system image, with availability beginning May 1, 2019.
The Windows 10 maker has also added that they have launched the Intel Core i5 Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 variant with 16GB memory and 256GB storage on an evaluation basis in the U.S. and Canada this month and based on the results they will likely expand this configuration more broadly in the future.
Surface Pro 7 rumors are floating around despite the Surface Pro 6 having just been launched. According to the rumors, kickstand and type cover are going to be much thinner and lighter thereby reducing the overall weight of the device by 50 g.
Further it is also rumored that Microsoft might change the design of kickstand by using slight refinement to the hinge, shaft and belt mechanism to allow for softer movement while opening and closing of the device.
